Under The Sun

Under The Sun
Thin ice is breaking – every bird has its song
The dormant seeds are coming up to sprout and shout.
The bumblebees aim at the dots in the green
Asparagus spears through my heart
A chilly breeze released the longing for May
Bittersweet sadness that soaks in when it rains
Butterfl ies so high in an open sky
Found their place under the sun
Under the sun
Crawling past the blooming almonds
Look into glaring little diamonds
Collect small bones and a black seed
Little time to string these few beads
One swallow doesn’t make a summer
But I was born a dreamer
Found my place under the sun
Under the sun
Wild saffron grows
in my garden by the pearly gates
Parsley blooming in the pourring rain

Cross My Heart

Cross My Heart
I’m guarding a secret I’m keeping it well
It lies under the forget-me-nots in my little garden
Every spring they bloom like the bluest sky
And making my heart ake a while
So I pluck the fl owers, put them in a vase and
lament about the day
I cross my heart and hope to die
I swear by the moon, the sun and the sky
I will never tell, I will never tell, I will never tell tell
I’m guarding a treasure and when the raindrops
falling on me nonstop, I think of digging it out
and scream „everybody help yourselves“
But after the rain comes the sun, making all the
birds sing their songs to me
„Be a warrior, have no barriers, no worries in mind“
So I cross my heart and hope to die
I swear by the moon, the sun and my life
I will never tell, I will never tell, I will never tell tell
I fell off a rainbow into the darkest sea
But looking back I’ve had it all and always felt so
free, like having wings to fl y high, shiny dragonfl y
heading far away

Lo-o-ove

Lo-o-ove
I’d feed a lion for you
Get a silly tatoo
Take a swim in an ocean with 1000 sharks
Create a shower of sparks,
Laugh at all your remarks
Come and look at me
I’d do anything for lo-o-o-ove..
Parachute out of a plane
Drink the cheapest champage
Rob a bank not at all disguised
I’ll bake hundreds of pies
Make stunts before your eyes
Come on notice me
I’d do anything for lo-o-o-ove
Oh you got me spinning
Oh you got me loving
Oh you got me on a rollercoaster up and down
Oh you got me speechless
Oh you got me hoping
Oh you got me on a rollercoaster up and down
Gonna be a little posh
Sipping on a fruit crush
Write a critical song about the neighbourhood
Search the jungle for food
Going hiking as nude
Hope to catch your eye
I’d do anything for lo-o-o-ve...

Hopes For Infinity

Hopes For Infi nity
We were young, we got hopes so high and dreams as
swift as gas
We had time, yet were racing through those moments
of our lifes
Wide open spaces, we were diving in
Weightless falling into your arms
All our wishes written down – hand in hand - watching
falling stars
It was our summer so light and warm – it was good - oh
it felt so free
We had hopes for infi nity – for fi refl ies in the sky
We had hopes that it would stay like this forever forever
going on
We hoped for infi nity of all things surrounding us
Sunset fi res - night bird songs – the sweet smell of
warm skin
The world won’t stop turning for you nor me
This world won’t stop turning – it never will
We were so free (swaying) we were so free (fl oating)
we were so free (loving)
We were so free (dreaming) we were so free (swinging)
we were so free (gliding) we were so free (falling) we
were so free (forever)
We had hopes for infi nity but starlight brought us home

Kings Of Tomorrow

Kings Of Tomorrow
Bow down to me
I’ve been hiding the biggest surprise
The masterplan today only succeds in disguise
The cream is overfl oating it’s time to fl utter
And whipping causes air cells to collapse into
butter
I’ll aim for light hearts with a chocolate arrow
Carry their remains up a hill in a barrow
On their graves there will bloom wild cherry
But one of them kings I will marry
I’m setting the table for the kings of tomorrow
I want their lonely hearts
I aim with my arrow
I’m setting the table for the kings of tomorrow
Whipped cream, jet stream
I aim with my arrow
It’s gonna be a coronation feast
By leaving only one I guess I’m the beast
I heard that Cupid will bring stolen honey
Would never give up my plans for love or money
I’m setting the table for the kings of tomorrow
I want their lonely hearts
I aim with my arrow
I’m setting the table for the kings of tomorrow
Whipped cream, jet stream
I aim with my arrow

This World Is Not My Home
This is a quiet night - the city lights up one last time
I open parachutes – to lift me up and catch my fall
I’d give it all away to know where you are,
And i drive, wherever my heart will lead me
Until I’m home
This world is not my home
Just looking out the window
My train is racing through this no man’s land
You fi lled my senses
You gave me peace
You made me say
Wherever you are is my home
This place is not my home
I look out and feel nothing
I’m just passing through this no man’s land
I counted millions of stars – they vanish as the sun
comes up
Fly, dandelion, fl y – to lift me up and get carried away
I wished – you were here – standing besides me and
make this place home
and i drive, wherever my heart will lead
Until I’m home

The Mountain

The Mountain
Oh you’re so mighty and angry and pulsing and
trembling and so full of heat
oh you’re so frightning yet tempting and pulling me
in oh so foolishly
I feel a storm is coming
Bury my fears - I always had you in my heart
Bury the past - I always had you in my dreams
Carry me far into the sea – darken the sun, glow in the dark
I feel a storm, trembling earth is taking my breath,
taking me in
I’m all yours now
Smoke blinds the sun
Arms wide open
Jumping in
Catch my falling
Forever yours
Heavy blankets
Darkening the sun
Oh so quiet, oh so quiet
Lovely mountain
Carry me far
Into the ocean
Horizons call

Waiting For Landfall
05:58
|

Waiting For Landfall
The sea was calm – every day last year
And the sky was blue – trying to please my mind
But time went by while I was fl oating free
To fi nd a place where I can be
Everyplace that I’ve seen seemed so clear
But coming close made it look dull and pale
I’m fl oating free till I can land somewhere
The air’s so calm – where will I be?
I’m waiting for landfall
I’m fl oating free through the darkest night
The waves will wash me overboard
Unexplored little territory
An island in the open sea
I always knew, I’m gonna be free somewhere
My little red house by the shore
Floating free till I could land somewhere
To fi nd a place where I can be
I’ve made landfall
